Equilibrium Supply-Demand Allocation in a Single-Commodity Network

چکیده
This paper is devoted to the recent findings in analytical research of supply-demand allocation a single-commodity network with distant (in space) suppliers and consumers. The problem formulated as an equilibrium flow assignment affine functions demand, supply, logistic costs represented by digraph consumers located nodes. We offer brief overview relocation patterns obtained for elastic, shortage, overproduction cases. Such kinds results seem valuable since they allow one develop different competitive distribution models facilitate decisionmaking supply chain managers. In particular, managers can use available design decision-making strategies that mitigate risks concerning disruption or ripple effects.

Design of a Bi-Objective Capacitated Single-Allocation Incomplete Hub Network Considering an Elastic Demand
This paper presents a bi-objective capacitated hub arc location problem with single assignment for designing a metro network with an elastic demand. In the literature, it is widely supposed that the network created with the hub nodes is complete. In this paper, this assumption is relaxed. Moreover, in most hub location problems, the demand is assumed to be static and independent of the location...
متن کاملOptimizing Bi-Objective Multi-Commodity Tri-Echelon Supply Chain Network
The competitive market and declined economy have increased the relevant importance of making supply chain network efficient. This has created many motivations to reduce the cost of services, and simultaneously, to increase the quality of them. The network as a tri-echelon one consists of Suppliers, Warehouses or Distribution Centers (DCs), and Retailer nodes. To bring the problem closer to real...

We consider in this paper a two echelon timber procurement system in which the first echelon consists of multiple harvesting blocks and the second echelon consists of multiple mills (e.g., sawmills), both distributed geographically. Demand is put forward by mills in the form of volumes of logs of specific length and species. Due to the impact of log handling and sorting on cut-to-length harvest...
متن کاملMulti-Commodity Flow and Multi-Period Equilibrium Model of Supply Chain Network with Postponement Strategy
With the constant changes of the market demand trends and modern information technology which greatly influence supply chain operation and management, postponement has been developed to be an important strategy in some of the supply chain processes. This paper studies the multi-period and multi-commodity flow supply chain network equilibrium problem with postponement strategy under a type of su...
متن کاملAn Interactive Allocation for Depot-Customer-Depot in a Multi Aspect Supply Chain Network
Supply chain excellence has a real huge impact on business strategy. Building supply chains (SCs) as flexible system represents one of the most exciting opportunities to create value. This requires integrated decision making amongst autonomous chain partners with effective decision knowledge sharing among them. The key to success lies in knowing which decision has more impact on the supply chai...
